Bilingual Business Coaching with a Global Approach, winter 2007
For four years now I have dreamt of turning my favourite pass-time into a respectable profession that matches up with my needs. I sell your used furniture and useful objects; I am The Consignment House!
Taking Bilingual Business Coaching with a Global Approach gave me the desire to push on, I had a reason to want to accomplish my goal and I had the motivation to prove that women have a place in the business world.
Each of the 12 workshops was enriching and compelled me to reflect on my abilities to handle both an entrepreneur’s responsibilities and my family obligations.
It was through this process that my project became more clear and I decided to integrate into it my personal values, my values of ethical consumption, and to encourage the local economy.
Over three months, I witnessed the birth of my company’s name, registration, market study, a portion of the business plan and a bilingual website. All that happened very quickly, but I knew where I was going.
Thank you, Héléna Marcoux, for your leadership, and thank you for having coached us with an integral, human and humoristic approach.
